Tony Pacini Trio Live At Jimmy Mak's

What's Saphu been up to?

Saphu Records founder and jazz bassist Ed Bennett is also a member of the Tony Pacini Trio (since 1999), alongside drummer and friend Timothy Rap. The Tony Pacini Trio has been filming high definition videos in a move to package E.P.'s (extended play videos of 3-4 tunes each) to embrace the technological "changing times". The first collection of videos are available now thanks to the videography work of Ciro Fusco Films, and Mr. Bennett's recording engineer skills. Visit: to view all the fun music!

Since it's inception, Saphu recordings have utilized the latest digital technology in both studio and live recordings in order to bring the music as acoustically true as possible to the listener. This is what we call Real Jazz.
